Truly a labor of love – Concord. I made a vow 6 years ago to build a better way to handle contracts. It included saving people time, providing efficiency, and reducing paper consumption. And it had to be free. And it had to be simple enough for my grandmother to use (no offense Grandma).
In 2009, I was tasked with renegotiating 500 contracts for a multibillion dollar company. This was an important project. And I was excited that I’d been given such a big responsibility. About 5 minutes later, I realized that we used software for most vital business activities, but we still used pen and paper for our contracts. I asked myself several times, why? And then I spent 6 months in contract hell. In the end, it saved the company money and set me on course to bring you Concord.
